You will need the recipient’s ID number to complete the transaction. The recipient ID is usually the same as the person’s SID (System Inmate Identification Number). The SID is a unique identifying number for an inmate. No matter how many times that person is in or out of jail or prison in their lifetime, the SID number will follow them and never change.
